World Migratory Bird Day Bird Walks & Outreach
The Pennsylvania Game Commission and DCNR are partnering up to create a new event at Middle Creek celebrating World Migratory Bird Day. The event could become part of the WMA’s annual schedule if successful. A large number of exhibitors will be on site and many demonstrations — to include bird banding demonstrations — will be held. LCBC will have a table setup at the event which runs from 10AM-2PM. Our table will be setup inside the Visitor Center at the windows overlooking the feeder/garden area. We will also lead 45-minute introductory bird walks at 11AM and 1PM. Bring your binoculars to take part in the walks! Loaner binoculars will also be available for participants. Each walk will visit a different area of habitat around the Visitor Center.
