Clark Nature Preserve Field Trip
Sarah Gotwols will lead a walk through the Clark Nature Preserve to explore the meadow and woodlands for summer birds such as buntings, vireo, and tanagers. Meet in the parking area at the end of House Rock Road at 7 a.m. There will be a moderate intensity walk along the Ralph H. Goodno Trail and “Blue Trail” which leads to Reed Run and the House Rock overlook as well as the newly-opened universally accessible trail. Please bring water and snacks, binoculars, and be prepared for insects including ticks. If necessary, weather-related cancelations will be made the day prior and registered participants will be notified.
