Beginner Birder Trip to Flory Park

Sarah Gotwols will lead a morning spring migration beginner birder walk along Mill Creek at East Lampeter Township’s Flory Park. Meet the leader at 8 a.m. at the Clark Pavilion. This trip is for all ages and open to anyone who is new to birding or would like to polish their skills. Participants can expect to learn proper use of binoculars, field guides, and apps to help hone your bird watching skills. A variety of birds – to include resident and seasonal migrant species – should be expected on the trip. Please bring binoculars if you have them – a limited number of binoculars will also be available to borrow. Contact Sarah (717-940-3804 call/text or email sarahann71880@gmail.com) by 6 p.m. on Friday if you plan to attend. If necessary, weather-related cancellations will be made the day prior and registered participants will be notified, walk-ons are also permitted.
