Beginner Birder Trip – Safe Harbor Dam & Observation Road

Sarah Gotwols will lead a field trip to Safe Harbor Dam and Observation Road for beginner birders or for individuals who would like to experience birding for the first time. Meet at 9 a.m. at the Safe Harbor Dam parking lot. Target species include waterfowl, Bald Eagles, other raptors and winter migrants. These special walks are meant to introduce new birders to the hobby, including bird identification, binocular use and mobile apps. Birders of all experience levels are welcome.
